Recently in the library, our first graders listened to paired fiction and nonfiction passages about bridges.
Today, they put their learning into action by working with a partner to design and build their own bridge!
They quickly discovered that part of the challenge was creating — and adjusting — a plan, collaborating with a teammate, and persevering when things didn’t go as expected. So proud of their teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills! 🌉🐾

Last week in the Library, 2nd graders listened to the book Extra Yarn about an amazing box of yarn that never ran out. They learned that it only worked when the owner had a generous heart. Today they created a reminder of the story with their very own extra yarn.

Please see flyer for dress up days. Participation is optional and meant to be stress free! Please use items you already have at home. If your student does not have a specific outfit, wearing the color of the day is a wonderful way to show support and participate.

See flyer for information about Drama auditions.
