Recently in the library, our first graders listened to paired fiction and nonfiction passages about bridges.
Today, they put their learning into action by working with a partner to design and build their own bridge!
They quickly discovered that part of the challenge was creating — and adjusting — a plan, collaborating with a teammate, and persevering when things didn’t go as expected. So proud of their teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills! 🌉🐾
