KLEIN, TEXAS–On November 10, 2025, the Klein ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2026–27 district calendar during its regular meeting.
The district’s calendar survey was sent via email to staff, parents, students, and community members to gather feedback.
Participants ranked three proposed calendar options, and Calendar A received the majority of support from all respondents in all categories and was recommended to the Board for adoption.
Klein ISD strives to put community voice at the center of planning. Listening to families, staff, and students on matters such as the school calendar is one way the district makes decisions that reflect local needs and priorities.
That intentional focus on feedback has more recently earned Klein ISD the title of #1 Education Employer in Texas on Forbes’ Best-in-State Employers 2025 list.
Additionally, the district’s most recent family satisfaction survey found that 95 percent of families said they would recommend Klein ISD to others. The district views that result as a clear endorsement of its schools, staff, and programs and a reminder that attention to quality and service matters every day.
